Don’t get us wrong, we love us some Duckpin Pale Ale. Its still our go-to, hop forward, refreshing session pale - but in honor of the opening of the 5th Annual Baltimore Beer Week , we’ve lowered the bumpers, buffed our balls, & bowled ten frames of hops straight down the lane of our original pale ale to create the hoppiest IPA… Aged with tangelos & oak chips.

On cask at Churchkey, pours a murky, dark orange with some sudsy, off white head. Nose has nice orange and vanilla notes, the IPA base is there in the nose, caramel too, hand soap. Flavor falls apart though, oily and astringent, heavy black tea, vegetal, some new wood. Finish doesn’t help either; watery and oily like a bad salad dressing.
