Bysøen ligger I Holbæks centrum – ikke langt fra vores bryggeri i Nygade. Den lille sø, der stammer helt tilbage fra middelalderen, er omgivet af en hyggelig blomster- og bypark og er absolut et besøg værd.

Bysø Brown er blevet justeret et par gange, indtil den fik sin endelige form i 2007.

Det er en fyldig ale med masser af smag de tre forskellige malte. Øllen afrundes med noter af nødder og frugt.

Foodfestival, 2014. Clear dark brown with medium tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toasted, notes og butter and a little nut. Flavour is malt, caramel, toasted, notes of butter, little nut, medium sweet and a little bitt.er

Bottle. Cloudy dark brown colour. Small frothy unstable head. The flavour is citric and not very bitter. Not so good.

Bottle @ BeerBiker/Scheffel’s 100 countires celebration. Pours ruby amber with a creamy beige head and lacings. Nose is roast, fruit and ashes. Some cocoa. Flavor is burnt.. Lots of caramel and quite ashy. Medium to thin palate.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Powerfullmalty aroma. Strong chocolate and nutty notes. Moderate itter slighyl roasted flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate and a little too fizzy, but it is a nice brown ale.

Sample at CPH beerfestival. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are nuts, roast malt and caramel. Mild and a bit watery.

Brown colour with medium beige head.Aroma of caramel and tosted malt.Flavor is slight swwet and hint of nuts and bread and has a mild finish.

Bottle 50cl. at home.Light light unclear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, anis notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [230908]
