Named after the Cinemax Show filmed here in Mooresville, “Banshee” is as edgy of an IPA as the hit show. Strong grapefruit and subdued orange are exhibited in the nose but caramel scents are still present. The flavor is hop-forward but a nice grain profile balances out the beer and is not completely overpowered.

Pours clear golden with a medium sized off-white head, good lacing. Grapefruit, grains, bread, citrus zest.

Pint at the brewery pours a lightly murky, burnt orange with some sudsy white head. Nose has big C hops, plenty of citrus, soap, pine, some light honey. Old school or West Coast, take your pick, but it's a throw back. Some malt and some honey, but then big pine and soap and grapefruit. Medium bodied, just off dry and bitter on the finish.
