Alternative Facts is another dip into classic German beer styles that we are fond of here at Cushwa. Using an ale yeast, we then fermented and conditioned this beer much like a lager. The synergy of ingredients and techniques between the two created a slight nutty and herbal taste profile. This Altbier drinks clean, with a mild bitterness, and semi-dry finish.

16oz can pours a fairly dark brown with some creamy off white head. Nose has malt, roasted nuts, some caramel, some tootsie roll, heavy grain. Flavor is grain, some coffee, tootsie roll, roasted almonds. Finishes fairly full bodied and dry. Lots of character for 5%.
