Dark chocolate with deep hazelnut highlights give a glimpse to the foundation beer. Viscous and creamy texture teamed with the alcoholic warmth make for warm, fuzzy mouthfeel. Milk chocolate, cinnamon, cocoa powder, bakers nibs and candied caramel rush the pallet. They are proudly accompanied by a tannic spiciness that tag-teams with the persistent barrel-flavored booze that oozes over the taste buds bringing all the players here into harmonious balance and expression.

12oz can pours a thick black with some legs and some frothy khaki head that faded to a ring. Big molasses and cane sugar nose, chocolate cake, booze. Some sarsparilla on the nose. Flavor has cola and cinnamon, it's actually pretty good, the spice really cuts the sugar. You get the warming woody booze at the end. Full bodied, sticky and lightly hot finish. Good for them.
