Deep blond color; medium sized head. There is some malt aroma, not too bad; but the flavor is very poor, corny, papery, and even a bit boozy (Malt Liquor). Bad.

Clear dark golden with an off-white head. Aroma is fruity, light yeasty and spicy. Flavor is medium sweet and light. Soft and smooth with a dry finish. Could use some more power, but a good beer never the less. 091010

Clear dark golden with a small white head. Weak fruity aroma, with a touch of alcohol. Sweetish yeast dominated flavour with spicy (clove) phenols and fruit. Some malt at the finish.

Bottled. A light amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet and very malty combined with lighter notes of yeast, caramel, and fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of stored fruits, alcohol, and caramel, as well as lighter notes of yeast, spices, and metal, leading to a dry metallic finish.

Bottle, 66cl. A clear, golden beer with a decent-sized, dense, off-white head leaving lacings. The aroma is quite weak, just some fruits and grains, and not very complex. Maybe some spiced notes in the far back. The flavor is very much the same, fruits and grains but not much, a little spicyness blending in, and a gentle bitterness following you to the very end. Medium-bodied, dry and effervescent. Ok, so it’s a quenching beer, but it’s too gentle on most things. I want my blondes more interesting than this. (090425)
