The National Colonial Farm is dedicated to preserving the natural and cultural heritage of the Piscataway Park region in Accokeek, MD. A colonial era cider orchard exists on the farm, but only five magnificent Hewe's Crabs remain. A tiny quantity of them went into this cider but ANXO is dedicated to raising money for replanting the orchard so each vintage can showcase more and more of the farm's historic fruit.

This batch is dry, fruit forward, unfiltered, and made primarily with 2017 harvested Rhode Island Greening apples fermented in one of our oak foeders.

Sampled at Kennedy Street, pours a hazy pale gold. Nose is earthier than other offerings, some distinct Cascade hop, lemon, even a touch dank. Flavor is green, apple but grass too, Cascade is still there. Slick, spritzy finish. Interesting
