Bottle. A fluffy, dense, off-white head sits on top of a clear, golden body. The aroma has a note of cooked vegetables, as well as caramel maltyness and some dried fruits. The flavor is rather mellow, but boring. Caramel maltyness, some dried fruits, and a little bitterness. Full body, quite dry, and pleasantly carbonated. Lasting finish. Nothing impressive going on here, but itโs a decent beer anyway. 130119

Cask at Charlie's Bar, Copenhagen. Pours clear amber with a broken whit head. The aroma is malty and dry. The flavour is smooth but bitter with some malt and caramel on the palate. Served nice and warm to preserve the flavour. A nice and very drinkable ale.

The pint I had was taken at the Wetherspoons in Bewdley: really enjoyed it, sweet hops? A good golden hue with a heavy white topping which gave some impressive lacing on the UK pint sleeve the beer was hand pulled into. Another fine beer from Hook Norton.

Cask at the Golden Gallion, Seaford Bridge: Deep golden, not completely clear, fluffy white head with a little lace, medical hoppy and bisquity-fruity nose, the band-aid dominates; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; lingering hoppy finish with a balancing bisquity sweetness. Not the nicest aroma, but all in all a solid and good brew....
