Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of peaches as well as hints of butter. The flavor is sweet and very malty combined with lighter notes of butter, toffee, diacethyl, and fruit, leading to a dry bitter finish. A bit too sweet - making it a bit cloying.

[i] Cask at Oxford Beer Festival 11-10-07 [/i] Poured warm golden but verging on orange a quite lovely colour in fact. Fresh hops waft on the nose. Tasted succulent wonderful soft maltiness combining well with those lovely fresh bitter hops, a truly lovely, well balanced beer and another fine addition to the Hook Norton portfolio.
