Appears clear, redbrown with a beige to ligth brown frothy head. Dont stay for long. Aromas of sweet caramel, nutty malt, breadish. The flavours reflects the aromas with the addition of alcohol. Sweet with very light bitterness. Slick texture with soft to flat carbo, and below medium bodied. Overall an okay bock, but I felt the malts didnt balance the alcohol touch which was more dominant than I like for this type of beer.

50 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Hazy, deep amber liquid with big, thick off-white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is quite faint but has notes of bread, cereal, biscuity malt, wort, caramel and honey. Maybe some earthy hops. Taste is biscuity, fruity and malty with light to medium sweetness and medium bitterness. Some notes of knäckebröd (hard bread). Nice taste! Medium bodied with ok carbonation and somewhat sticky mouthfeel. Really nice bock that doesn’t suffer from the usual foul lager taste. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Clear copper with a medium head. Sweet aroma with bread, malt and some dried fruit. The taste was on the thin side with toffee, malt and dried fruit. Drinkable but not that interesting.

12/11/11/11//11

2009-10-09, draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagen, 6-3-7-3-14=33
Deep blond color. The aroma is light, some malt and sugar. It’s a strange Bock, it has some of the good malt qualities of crispy Lagers, which is positive, maybe even a light Ale fruitiness; it has a good body strength and some sweetness. In the end it has a corky feeling, like a Bière de Garde. Pleasant.
2008-09-26, draught at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö, 6-4-6-3-13=32
Hazy amber color. It has the typical Danish grassy and grainy aroma, round sweet body, caramel flavor, correct bitterness. Pleasant.

Draught@EBF2008. Amber colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, malts, caramel and quite much pumpkin. Flavour is very much the same with some rather alcoholic notes. Yet wellbalanced and quite nice caramel maltyness leaving in aftertaste.
