Bottled, thanks oh6gdx & hanniku! Very dark brown, small head. Fruity and roasty with red currant and chocolate sauce. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. A bit of syrup. Has outgrown its costume, would like to see it toned down.

Bottle. It’s a reddish dark brown beer with a small, dense, beige head. Lacings. Lightly smoked nose with roasted malts. One-tracked but pleasant. Sweet, smoked and roasted flavor with charcoal notes and some weak notes of dried fruits. Full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. Moderate lenght finish with roasted malts and smoke. Maybe a bit phenolic and one-tracked, but a tasteful and smooth beer. 100924

Black color; creamy head. It has some aroma of roasted malts and smoke. Good body, with good chocolate malt flavor, some caramel, light roasted malt too; there is some residual sweetness; the mouthfeel is quite smooth (also because all the carbonation has gone into foam, with the tap); for my liking, it has a bit too much bitterness from the roasted malt, in the end. Quite good.
