250ml draught at Plan B, Copenhagen. Dark-brown coloured body. Huge, brownish head, leaving nice foamy waves on the glass. Aroma is mainly roasted dark malts. Grainy chocolate malts in flavour. Bitter coffee to the ending. Crispy in the mouth. Medium bodied. Alright (18.05.2009).

(Draught at Plan B, Copenhagen, 22 May 2009) Brownish black colour with brief, pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark coffee, liquorice and a touch of smoke. Roasted, malty taste with coffee, ashes and a hint of tar. Roasty and well made schwarzbier. Nice one.

Draught at KBH Festival, 2009. Pitch black with a creamy beige head. Roast, sweet, butter, grain. Mediu bodied. Hints of smoke. Well made.

CBF09. Draught. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. heavy malty and light hoppy aroma. Roasted and burnt notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Very roasted. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Nice beer.

On tap at Lord Nelson. Pours dark, almost black, with a small dark brown head. Aroma is quite faint, roasted and smoke notes present. Taste of chocolate with some hints of roasted malts.

Draught at EBF 2008, Copenhagen, Denmark. Clear medium amber brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, smoke - rubber. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [140908]

Draft. A brown beer with medium, collapsing tan. Sweet malty with notes of brown sugar and herbs. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of herbs as well as medium notes of brown sugar and roasted malt, leading to a dry bitter and herbal finish.

(On tap) Pours almost black with an orange hue and a beige head. Very burned malty aroma with a distinct smoky note. Medium body with sweetish roasted malt and vanilla - and plenty of smoke and tar. Some malt bitterness. Not really a Schwarzbier but excellent indeed. 140908
