Bottle, as August. This is a slightly hazy beer, dark golden in color and topped by a finger thick beige to off-white head. Notes of myrica gale in the aroma which is fruity and slightly citrusy and with some caramel. The flavor too has some citrus, along with caramel, white sugar and a herbal touch. Some bitterness in the finish. A quite nice one, nothing more. Like the hop profile though. 100108

Draught, taster at CBF 09, thanks to faroeviking. Deep golden-amber body. Modest white head. Floral aroma with herbs. Sweet fruits in flavour with a huge part of herbs, supposed to be bog myrtle. On the sweet side of bittersweet ending. Unusual and well bodied, but still too sweet (16.05.2009).

Amber with a lasting white head. Very herbal aroma leaving no doubt about the bogmyrtle used. Sweet herbal flavour.
