Mild Lockout is a German-style Helles Lager brewed with almost entirely Barke Pilsner malt, lagered for just north of 6 weeks and naturally carbonated. Helles is meant to be a beer of restraint: malt and hops working together, but not overpowering one another, to create a balanced and drinkable yet flavourful beer. Pouring with a tight foam, Mild Lockout’s aroma of light, toasty bread and cracked grain combine with a subtle, spicy noble hop character to bring this sought after balance to life.
