Mono is an evolution of the ’single hop’ phenomenon. While Galaxy is the stated hop on the label, the true concept here is to display the headliner in it’s greatest form possible, and if you ask me every hop is better when paired or supported by others. So we added some accents of Centennial & Sterling to widen the frequency and crank up the volume of bright tangerine, grapefruit, and fresh grass.

Thanks for sharing! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Leuven Innovation Beer Festival. Pale golden, little white,.. Nose is sweetish raw fresh onion hops, rich garlic, lightly fizzy,… Nose is raw onion hops, garlic with some too heavy milky yeast, cheesy hops,..; Overly yeasty body, lightly fizzy,… Lovely hop profile but not ideal body,.. Good but could have been more still nice beer for sure.

Bottle sample @ Leuven Beer Innovation 2015, shared with the RB Belgian crew. Dorée, col fin blanc. Bière aux accents agréable de houblons, ajoutant des pointes tropicales, agrumes et herbacées. Ce côté houblonné est perdurant avec un fini malté pils et pâle. On retrouve une IPA très bien faite mais avec une signature qui fait plus ressortir le savoir de Two Roads dans les IPA. Une amertume qui reste le caractère dominant avec un herbacé prenant tout en étant balancée pour seulement 5%.

Tap@CBC 2015, Yellow Session - golden pour with white head. Grassy and floral hoppy aroma and taste, straw, hay, come citrus lemony notes, clean and crisp. Very nice.

Leicht trübes goldenes Bier mit einer geringen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hopfig, Getreide, viel malz. Geschmack grasig hopfig, bitter, sehr malzig, lecker.

Clear pale yellow beer, small creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, exotic fruits, pineapple, little soapy, funky touch. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bitter, citrus, bit soapy, hoppy, grassy. Aftertaste: citrus, nice bitterness, lemony, bit soapy, resinous finish.

[5/1/15] Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2015. 1st session. Clear yellow. Nice “green” weedy hops aroma, with some fruitiness. Dry flavor with fruity hops.

Draught @ CBC 2015 [ Yellow Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2015, Sparta Hallen, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11, 2100 Copenhagen, Denmark [ As Stillwater Contemporary Works - Mono ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt - wheat, moderate hoppy - yeasty, fruity, vegetable notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, fruity - citurs, yeast, grass - herbs. From tap. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and citrusy. Crisp hoppy. Smooth fruity, grassy. Crisp hoppy and citrusy. Dry and slight bitter finish.

Bottle from Corti Brothers. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruit and citrus. Nice clean malt background. Med body or nearly. There is a typical pale malt aspect, but the clean fruit and citrus hop really lofts it to the realm of ales, taste wise. Finishing pretty dry and nicely bitter. Maybe a grassy bitter in the end.
