We aged this imperial stout in a Jamaican rum barrel for 4 months and then to top it all off we gave it a tiramisu treatment. The nose is ripping' with rum. The palate has chocolate, cinnamon, and coffee. The oak gives it a nice dry finish. This is not a sticky sweet pastry stout.

50cl bottle I bought from Lighthouse pours a murky black with some clumpy beige head. Nose has cocoa, booze and pencil erasure or something industrial. Flavor has malt and cocoa powder, a little plastic. Maybe the plastic is the barrel? Full, hot, industrial finished. It's not as bad as some ratings would lead you to believe, but it falls off hard and doesn't finish well.
