Adorn is a wink at the Italian Pilsners we love. It’s a hoppy Pilsner, or Birra Pilsner Luppolata in Italian. Bright floral and citrus aroma. Bread crust dipped in wildflower honey body. Effervescent, finishing just dry of center.
The grist is made of 100% Virginia-grown grain that’s expertly craft malted. On the hot side, this small batch local malt is ushered through our lager regime on brew day. This coaxes out a restrained depth of malt character that’s ready for adornment with a light hand of dry hopping in the cellar.
All told, this delightful beer is months in process, having slumbered over the winter months. It spent the lion’s share of its time in one of our horizontal lager tanks, helping the flavors come together. The result is a balanced and lovely offering that only time and patience can elevate.
