Thick and oily black, wisp of beige head. Leggy. Nose has booze, Bourbon, toasted wood. Some caramel and rootbeer and marzipan. Chocolate syrup. This smells like the best barrel even though it definitely isn't like. Flavor lacks some complexity, chocolate covered cherries, coffee beans, toast, charred wood and booze. Finishes hot, boozy, oily. A little woody on the end. Maybe showing the barrel now. Pretty good though. Won the event. 8 4 8 4 14
