Draft at EBF 2008. An unclear golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of malt, hops, straw, and caramel. The flavor has lovely notes of fresh hops on a malty back ground. Nice but more hops would make it even better.

Draught at EBF 2008, Copenhagen, Denmark. Clear light yellow orange color with a small, virtually none, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, moderate hoppy, grass, herbs, flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 120908

(On tap) Slightly hazy golden with a small off-white head. Sweetish fruity and somewhat flowery aroma. Medium body, very sweet clean malts and flower accents. Some bitterness. Quite nice. 120908

Yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy hops and a bunch of butterscotch. Dry and hoppy flavour but hurt by the butterscotch.

Draught@EBF2008. Pale yellowish golden colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, caramel and some mild mouldy notes. Some mild hayish dryness too. Flavour is fruits, yeast, some mild saltwatery notes along with mild and quite nice earthy notes. Rather pleasant.

Cloudy golden with medium white head. Sweet fruity aroma with fresh hoppy notes. Sweet flavour with fruity, malty and hoppy notes and a bit of caramel. The fresh hops gives it a fresh bitter finish. Refreshing.

gourmetbryggeriet hopfenzupfer kellerbier. 51G tap, EBF2008 aroma: i had expected more hops. however, very fresh aroma, very enticing. appears yellow with a white head, flaovr reminds me of GB pale ale, which i also like a lot, sweet, dry, slightly fruity. a bit one dimensional though. The special hops made it extra refreshing.

Draught at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Almost clear golden, no head. Grassy nose. Dryish with clean mouthfeel. The doughy malt goes well with the grassy hops. The mouthfeel is what separates this beer from the traditional kellerbier. It’s not as soft and inviting, making it less refreshing, and gives more of impression of being a nicely hop lacquered standard lager.

Draught at EBF. Frothy white good mstly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Moderate hoppy and light malty aroma.Moderate bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.
