For 150 år siden havde mange haver et Mispeltræ, men de er siden blevet sjældne. I bryghusets gårdhave stod et af disse smukke træer. De aromatiske frugter blev brugt i Høstbryggen, som er en af verdens uhyre få mispel-øl. Den blev produceret første gang i 2008. Året efter kom den også på flaske.
Høstbryg er brygget på vand, Münchener Malt, sukker og humle samt mispelfrugter. Det er en ravfarvet øl, fyldig og med en aromatisk duft og en letkrydret smag af frugt og sensommerblomster. Drik den først, når høsten er kommet i hus, for det er en øl for feststemte, granvoksne karle.

hazy dark amber, light brown bubbly head. sligthly vineous and quite nutty malty aroma. flavor is sweet malts, nutty malts, honey, nutty euro hoppy bitterness, alc. bitterness. Sweet malty brew with bitter nutty notes.

Golden with a small white head. Malty aroma with a fruity touch. Sweet malty and fruity flavour with a hint of alcohol.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate biter nice flavor. Long moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Hazy amber beer, thick frothy white head. Light airy palate, silky too. hard to pin down, a very light crisp palate that belies it’s abv. The taste is a sublte blend of honey malt, orange and light light brandy. Minerals. Finishes light and frothy. Very nice - light as a feather and something a bit different.

Bottled (thanks Papsoe). Hazy orangeish amber colour, huge off-white foamy head. Aroma is bready and caramelly malts with a bunch of alcohol. Flavour is sweet malts, alcohol and some mild fruits.

Slightly hazy amber color, good cloudy beige head. Grassy and bready nose. Medium-bodied. Quite sweetish, grassy, bready-wort flavor. 9.5%? Can’t notice that. Too sweet and harsh.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a tan head and a clear golden body. Aroma of caramel, grain, alcohol and fruit. Taste is fruity with some caramel, and raisins. Light bubbles and a dry finish.
