From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden amber with a lacing white head. Aroma is mild yeasty and sweet cornish with alight roasted breadish note. Smooth and sweet banana and light clove in the initial flavour impression. Building sweetness and light alcohol presence into the finish. Lingering caramelish sweet finish with a little spice twist. Nice and smooth although a bit on the too sweet side, will age well and would be great oaked aged but here it has some unfinished edges to it and is going in a few too many directions at once.
