Bottled. Dark brown, small beige head. Licorice, chocolate and asphalt. Sweetish with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Tocacco, salmiak and licorice. Long bitter finish with notes of white pepper and honey.

Many thanks to Gerhard for the bottle. Jet black body, stable tan-coloured head with nice lacework on the glass. Cocoa and chocolate on the nose. Dark chocolate flavour alongside hints of nuts and coffee. Roasted bitterness to the ending added by warming alcohol. Velvety in the mouth. Lovely (Grand tasting at the balcony, Fässla, Bamberg 12.10.2014).

Bottle 330ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As Schönramer Imperial Stout ].Clear dark black brown color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, wood, light chocolate and coffee, light vegetables. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, berry - fruit sweet, roasted, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Smooth maltyness in the beginning. Fresh, intense fruity. Dark red fruit. Not viscous, but intense. Roasted malt, nice bitterness fitting in. Fresh red fruits in the dark malt. Hints of sourness fitting in great. Not too sweet. Quite dry. Great! The aftertaste is long and intense. Roasted malt, harmonising bitterness, extremely fullbodied, slightly sour. Great stuff!!

Bottle shared at Chriso’s mid-week lasting 03/07/14. Aroma is earthy rye bread, sweet caramel, nutty milk choc lactose sweetness. Apearance is dark caramel, lasting loose light tan head. Flavour is choc, dark roasted grains, salted caramel, nutty malts. Palate is full bodies, spicy dry finish. Solid, good malt depth.

(Bottle, Hopfenreich, Berlin, 26 July 2014) Black colour with frothy, white head. Malty, roasted nose with black coffee, chocolate, liquorice and hints of oak wood. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, liquorice and a generous coffee bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a slight sweetness coming through. Well made imperial stout with a good coffee/chocolate balance. Very nice.

Bottle shared by Erwin Van Moll @ Brewpub Van Moll. Opaque black color, full sized thick dense lightly creamy light brown head. Aroma is malts, caramel, chocolate, lightly raisins, a hint of leaves. Taste malts, earthy, lightly chocolate, leaves, moderately bitter. Unfortunately also a slight hint of (Dutch) "hopjesvla". Decent body and carbonation.
