bottle in schneiders Freising. black beer brown edges. a bit uneducated a bit raw. some chocolate molasses liquorice. not great.

Black with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some dark bitter chocolate and a brandy-like fruity alcohol background note. Quite thick and oily. Hints of coffee in the aftertaste.

28.03.2017 -- 0.33l bottle from marktkauf/edeka. pours almost black with a medium beige head. aroma of dark fruits, wood, cigarettes, roast. flavour of cigarettes, coke, nuts, leather. oily mouthfeel, bitter finish. alcohol is quite present. actually gets somewhat better when warming up. 24.12.2018 -- leather, plums, and sweet molasses on the nose. praline and dark chocolate on the mouth. chewy body, bittersweet, getting more bitter towards the finish. not the most complex imperial stout, but quite drinkable.

Butelka 330ml (23.11.2030). Piwo o czarnej, praktycznie nieprzejrzystej barwie z obfita, bezowa piana o kremowej, wyraznie oblepiajacej scianki szkla. Aromat delikatny, slodkawy z nutami suszonych owocow, palonosci i ciut czekoladowy jest przyjemny mimo, ze niezbyt intensywny. W smaku owoce zepchniete sa na drugi plan a dominuje palonosc, intensywna, popiolowa, agresywna choc krotka w czasie. Mimo tego piwo jest gladkie w odbiorze. Cialo srednie, brakuje nieco gestosci ale dzieki temu piwo jest dosc pijalne jak na taki woltaz a alkohol, o likierowym charakterze, dobrze ukryty i tylko nieznacznie piecze w przelyku podbijajac odczucie goryczki.

330 mml bottle tasted on the 27/09/2016. Very dark brown colour, almost opaque with a medium beige head. Intense wood, chocolate and brown sugar aroma. Taste is intense wood, alcohol and some liquorice. Full dry finish and aftertaste. Next one please!

Bottle shared thanks to Maakun. Near black with a small tan head. Aroma of walking into Marks and Spencer upfront, butter, chocolate pastry, milky coffee, chocolate, toffee and butterscotch. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation. [21-07-2016]

0.33 l bottle from ’craftbeerstore.de’, best before September 2029, about two years old. Clear, very dark red to black with a medium large, slightly creamy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, moderately roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, hazelnut, vanilla and some licorice. Very sweet, malty, moderately roasty taste of dark chocolate, praline, milk coffee, hazelnut, vanilla and licorice, followed by a rather long, medium roasty-bitter, slightly warming finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite good! Not overly complex, but rather intense and well-balanced.

Bottle shared at home. Pours black with tan head. Big sweet deep roasted chocolate malts. Big sweet molasses with light ash notes, some chestnut/ woodiness. Sweet and a mild bitter.
