Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of butter and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruit, butter, and caramel, as well as an acidic note that prickles the tongue. The mouthfeel is flat.

Bottle (purchased at the brasserie): Copper coloured, mid-sized and stable lacing off-white head, dryish malty nose with a tinge of molasses and fruity-toasted-malty influences; light to moderate bitter-sweetish, almost dryish, flavour, flavour, relatively light bodied for a beer of 5.7% ABV; faint sweetish-malty finish, becoming dryer towards the delicate bitter end. (bottle) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet and toasty malty aroma with caramel, liquorice and light citrus-fruity notes, combined with herbal, slightly woody hops. Sweet toast-malty taste with caramel and bread crust-like impressions; medium bodied with a soft, very pleasant carbonation; finishes also malt-accented, toasty and slightly bitter with a bit liquorice-spice and soft notes of herbal hops. Aromatic and very quaffable dark malty Kellerbier.
