Remember that Chocolate Mousse Imperial Milk Stout we brewed with Chris from The UnCapped Podcast and Tony from Saints Row Brewing? Well, we siphoned off a bit of that beer and threw it into Miscellaneous Distillery Popi’s Rum barrels for a few months. The flavors and aromatic notes from the barrels are a perfect compliment to the thick and creamy chocolate notes of the brew. Slightly sweet with touches of salted caramel, dark chocolate and bootstrap molasses throughout this delightful brew.

16oz can pours an opaque black with a ring of beige head. Nose is quite nice, chocolate, caramel, cupcakes, molasses, marzipan. Flavor is cupcakes and chocolate milk, caramel, marzipan. Finishes full bodied and sweet but not cloying.
