32oz growler from Shoreline Beverage pours a murky black with some creamy off white head. Nose has spice, cinnamon, some nutmeg, a little pepper, malt, brown sugar, some burnt maple, a little sumac. Flavor is sweet with licorice and brown sugar, light spice, sumac, a little smoke, chewy grains. Full bodied and mostly dry.
