Draft. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is quite light and is sweet malty combined with notes of toffee. The flavor has powerful notes of toffee and medium notes of yeast and nuts as well as hints of spice - is that American hops? Amarillo? The finish is dry and bitter - is that English yeast. Lacks hops for being a West Coast IPA.

From tap at Charlies. Pours clear and golden with a lacing white head. Mild citrusy and malty aroma. Flavour is light citric and with breadish malty base. Lingering hoppy finish with a solid bitterness showing through.

Draught, 5.0% as American Westcoast Jack’s Ale. Slightly oxidized aroma. Clear copper colour. Small white head. Grassy flavour, but not in the good American way. Slightly oxidized. Low carbonation, quite OK.
