Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a two finger almost tan foamy head which dissipated to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark and roasty malts, some coffee tones, dark chocolate and earthy tones
Flavor: mildly sweet and roasty, earthiness seems more faint here; subtle aftertaste of dark malts and roast
Texture: medium to almost full bodied, somewhat a sipper, finishes semi-dry and roasty
Overall: pretty nice American stout I would return to.

Can (11/24/24) from trade with CLW--thanks, Chris! Opaque, dark brown, nice sparkle, thin head with fair retention, light lacing. Aroma is strong toffee, dark chocolate, mild coffee. Taste follows aroma. Smooth texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Good strength, nice non-adjuncted stout!

16oz can pours a murky black with cap of beige head. Nose is so spot on, malt and molasses and toast and caramel. Old school. Some smoke, meaty. Flavor is malty and meaty. Love this. Cola and licorice and toast and clear grain. Love the grain bill on this. Dry but full bodied.
