A reflection of sound nearly a year in the making, we allowed our rich and malty Echoes of Sanctity Belgian Dubbel to age in McClintock whiskey barrels for nine months ahead of additions of fig puree and dried cherries. The resulting intensely fruity aromas, bring harmony to the barrel-derived vanilla and brown sugar notes and hints of sweet toffee and clove from the base beer, sending waves reverberating throughout this medium bodied, deep amber ale. This Cellared Selection certainly resonates with us as we approach the holiday season and welcome family and friends into our homes and halls.

Sampled at Max's Belgian Fest 2023. Pours a murky amber. HUGE nose of figs and cherry, marzipan too. Flavor is cakey, plenty of the dried dark fruit Some malt and port too. Full bodied, off dry.
