Bottled. A hazy brown beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, and so is the flavor, though added light notes of acidity and nuts, leading to a bitter finish where light notes of plums and rum appears.

Bottle, shared by fonefan. The beer did it’s best to escape the bottle when the cap was popped, but ended up as a hazy, brown liquid topped by a beige head. Quite weak on the nose, with hints of smoke, licorice, roasted malt and dried fruits. Sweet, roasted flavor with caramel and fruits. Some bitterness too. Medium to full body, highly effervescent. Sweet and roasted finish. Sure a drinkable beer, but not especially exciting, and certainly not deserving it’s name. (080823)

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Poured a dark brown colour, some sweet maltiness on the aroma. Tasted a bit sweet, but with fruitiness, a bit of a dissapointment really having enjoyed one of their beers in cask recently.
