Bottle thanks to LKS. It pours lightly hazy yellow with a small white head. The aroma is perfumed, herbal, oily, stone fruits, sour candies, apple, funk and pear. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, herbal, floral, spice, musty, bit of funk, grassy, warming alcohol, some alcohol and hay. Medium body and fine carbonation. Unusual stuff, but not bad.

Bottle shared at the Site between IMBC sessions - sourced from Brew By Numbers. Pours mostly clear gold, lightly effervescent, with a lasting, foamy white head. Not bad, some crunchy wheat, pale grains, mellow saison yeast, lemon peel, grass. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Grassy finish, some further yeast, wheat bread, pale grains, mellow brett funk. Pretty good stuff.

Saison spiced with annual mugwort, a Chinese wormwood type used in medicine. Draft at Foeders in Amsterdam during Carnivale Brettanomyces. Cobweb-lacing, beaten egg-like frothy, very thick and stable, dense head on a hazy straw blonde beer with golden hue, looking quite like a witbier. Aroma of raw garden herbs (the annual mugwort without a doubt) even descending in raw white cabbage-like territory as is often the case in beers using green plant material, notes of wormwood indeed (grapefruit-ish), white bread, unripe pear, raw pineapple, hay, green banana. Crisp, fruity onset, pear, pineapple, sweetish with lively carb, rounded cereally, bready and bit grainy, straightforward pale malt sweetishness, drying finish with a floral and grassy character not just from the hops, but obviously established by the annual mugwort as well, adding a soft spicy, bit ‘green’ bitterness without becoming too pronounced. The herb used would be unrecognisable as such here, but it does add a green, spicy, bitter quality different from what you normally get in what is essentially a Belgian style blonde rather than a modern farmhouse ale. Drinkable, quenching and agreeable enough but like other Nevel Artisan Ales, it fails to fully impress me.

Bottle sampled at Carnivale Brettanomyces. Hazy light golden with some floaters and white head. Strong herbs, Brett, funk, light wheat, spicy yeast, lemon balm, soft grass. Under medium sweet and about medium bitter. Just medium bodied. I quite like it, though I enjoyed the other Nevel beers tonight a bit more.

Sampled from bottle @ RBBWG 2018, hosted by Beerlovers Bar, Antwerp. Clear golden color, virtually no head. Smell and taste malts, lemonade, cucumber, weird herbs or spices. Bleh wtf. Not my kind of beer at all.
