17/6/2022. Cask at the 30th East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours almost clear orange amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is ginger, biscuit, earthy, leafy, twiggy, tea. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, light tartness. Moderate body, watery and oily, soft to flat carbonation. Dry, ginger biscuit finish. Nice aroma.

Cask@Market Porter, London. Deep orangeish amber colour with small white head. Aroma is ginger and nothing more. Flavour is also very gingery with some mild herbal and floral notes. Quite bitter and semidry in the finish.

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has strong notes of ginger - that dominates, though without being overpowering on a lightly malty back ground. The flavor is sweet and dominated by ginger - just on the edge of being too much. The finish is bitter and with the ginger lingering. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottle 50cl.Light unclear light amber orange color with a small, virtually none appearance, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate ginger. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, and with ginger burn finish. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (220808)

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Hazy golden with a basically absent head. Perfumy and soapy ginger aroma. Light body completely without carbonation, again notes of soapy ginger. Astringent and bitter finish. 220808

Bottle, thx to fonefan. An almost clear orange beer with a thin layer of off-white bubbles for a head. There’s a touch of pale malt and citrusy hops in the aroma, but most of all it’s ginger. Loads of ginger, probably too much, but I liked it quite well. The flavor is much the same, and it also finishes with ginger. Some citrus and hoppy bitterness too. Medium body, with no carbonation. Due to the ginger? A quite nice beer. In a way. But there’s too much ginger in it, and contrarty to the commercial description, I find it overpowering. (080822)

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a fuly gone head. Acidic ginger aroma, quite uniform. Flat mouthfeel. Flavour is cleaning watery to soapy ginger in a very simplistic way. No more no less.

Bottle. Syrupy and golden looking beer with a strongish head. The aroma is firmly ginger and the flavour has hints of ginger with a bitter body and finish. Overall a reasonable beer.
