(Cask at Castle, Chancery Lane, London, 18 April 2012) Dark reddish amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, nuts, dried fruit and toast. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, dark fruit, prunes and dark bread. Medium body, with balanced sweetness and a slightly dusty bitterness. Well balanced and quite drinkable.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of burnt plastic, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, straw, grass, and vegetables, as well as light notes of chocolate. It also has a light acidity. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Hazy amber golden with a rough, off-white head. Somewhat unusual licorice and herbs in the nose. Medium body with notes of overripe fruit and caramel. Dry finish. Didn’t quite live up to the name... :-) 220808

Bottle, thx to fonefan. It pours a slightly unclear, golden body with a thin, beige layer of bubbles. Berryish sour aroma with a plastic touch. Both blackcurrant and redcurrant present. The flavor has an artificial, chemical touch, with sourness, berries, roasted malt and some caramel, surely unpleasant. Medium body. Berries, burnt plastic, sour notes and a little caramel in the finish. A really amazing beer. Quality control, where are you? (080822)

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a lacing off white head. Strange off malty aroma with a mild spiced hops note. Spiced and strange malty. Vegetable and citric finish. Herb and bitter into the far finish with a vague caramel malt presence. Strange.
