12oz bottle pours clear copper with tan head. The aroma offers up hay and grain, citrus flavored cotton candy and a touch of vague hoppiness at the end of the draw. The taste is similar with grainy malts, hay, sweet orange hard candy infused with banana flavored candy corn candy sugariness. Not so good.

Bottle, bought in Sweden as Summer Wheat. Sweet wheat and tropic hop aroma. Pale yellow haze, lacing foam. Light papery wheat malt, light body. Nice hoppyness otherwise like other American wheats.

Bottled as Summer Solstice Summer Wheat:
Pours a somewhat hazy brass colour with a frothy head. Wheaty nose with faint toffee notes. Wheaty and yeasty flavour with notes of toffee. Boring.

Bottle. Pours golden. Anonymous aroma. Caramel malts and some hops in taste. Watery mix of a pale ale and a pale lager.

12oz bottle-pours a retaining tight white head and yellow color. Aroma is wheat/bready. Taste is wheat/bready, some grassy hops. Some sweetness at the end. Easy. Soft carbonation.

This beer misses the mark by a fair bit. It’s not bad, but the flavors are muted and what is there doesn’t make me wish for more. Part of the problem is the style, which is inherently fairly boring. However, it’s a boring beer in a somewhat boring style. Ok, that sounds harsh. It’s not really bad. At any rate, the beer is nice looking. It’s golden liquid with a nice white head. The wheat notes are too mild. Clove lingers in the background. The dominant flavor is just a bland malt tone that would seem more appropriate from a mediocre lager. A hint of lemon is one of the few positives.

12oz bottle. I can remember drinking 22s of this circa 2001. Cloudy orange tan color. Mild tangy aroma. Pretty straightforward American Wheat Ale. Crisp initial mouthfeel quickly fades into malt sweetness. Some mild lemon citrus flavor in there. A decent beer but certainly not one of AV’s best.
