A black beer, a head is quite small and brown. Aroma has liquirice, coffee, balanced sweetness, some salt liquirice. Great and balanced aroma. Taste has liquirice and salt liqirice, dark and roasted coffee. The barrel is almost disappeared but maybe itβs there with strenghtening elements. Full bodied, not stickyness, smooth. Marvellous balance, salt liquirice. Even too easy to drink.

black, red edges, smells like a bog. overwhelming peet with bacon, ham, good mouthfeel but itβs a smoke bomb. would be great for cooking.

Black with a brown head - Peated malt aroma - Peated malt body with some smoke flavours - The peated malt goes into the finish - This was nice

0.33 l bottle from Pivoteka, Zagreb. Shared with ViΕ‘nja 666 and Goran. Thanks! Dark brown to black, oily, no head. Peat, smoked meat, some malts or dry fruit. Alcohol, peat, sweet. Very sticky and thick, very dry, roasty. Love this one from this brewery once again.

--- Beer merged from original tick of Peated Imperial Stout on 15 Oct 2016 at 14:23 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8. Original review text: Bottle at home. Pitch black pour with a fine-grained tan head with good retention. Tons of smoke and bacon in the aroma and taste, followed by dark chocolate, roasted malts, dark cherries and prunes, coffee and caramel. A delightful smoked stout, and I am not one to enjoy peated stouts, usually.

Pours black into a snifter. Mocha head with little retenion recedes to hug rim leaving spot lacing. Sweet peat and oak aromas. Thick with dark chocolate and peat upfront turning to dry, charred, hot vanilla finish.
