Bottle 50cl. @ home.Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (150808)

Almost black with tiny short lasting head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and coffe notes. Flavour likewise with chocolate aswell. Ends dry and mild bitter.

(6/29/08) Bottle sample at RBESG08 grand tasting in Plzen. Black-colored beer. Aroma of roasted malt and some espresso. Sweet roasty flavor that continues drier. Medium-bodied.

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy dark brown with a small off-white head. Distinct burned coffee aroma. Light-bodied with hard roasted malts and a dry finish with a subdued bitterness. 290608

Black almost pitch black, some off-white head. Strong chocolaty, coffeish aroma. A bit watery, but nicely balanced, coffeish and roasted flavor. Roasted aftertaste. Very good light stout.

Bottled(500ml). -RBESG2008, Grand Tasting.
Dark brown coloured, small pale brown head, light roasted nose. The taste is light roasted malt as well with chocolate and coffee. Smooth, somehow light acidic finish.

RBESG08 grand tasting Brilliant of me to write it down just as "Wagtail", luckily others have rated it before me. Almost black body, coffee nose. Light creamy sweetish taste, malt and coffee. Ok enough.

Bottled. Deep amber colour, small brown head. Aroma is coffee, some malts, mild roast. Flavour is malts, some acidic fruits, roasted notes as well as old coffee. Quite nice.

Bottled at RBESG. Very dark brown. Coffee aroma. Dry and solidly malty. Heavily rosaty with light body and a föavour of rain on hot dusty asphalt. Salty finish.
