On tap @ Henrik. Pours a light blurry orange-golden body with a small sidesticking just off-white head. The aroma is light spicy and fruity, I get some bubblegum tones blended with hints of diacetyl and butter. Not especially good, but nice enough. It has a light oily to watery texture and a soft carbonation level. More buttery and oily diacetyl tones in the flavor, some yeast fruitiness also, and there is something herbal lurking in the background before it ends in a light peppery finish and aftertaste. Not a winner in my book, but drinkable. 07.05.2012

On tap at Henrik. Has a clear amber colour with a small off-white head. Aromas of candy and bubble gum along with wood and sap. A lot of different flavours in this overall sweet ale, and its a bit hard to distinguish from each other. The most dominant would be belgian yeast, wood and berries. Has a slick and some watery mouth feel, and a light bitternes. A good ale but I feel pulled in many different directions in both aroma and flavour.

Bottled (as Børglum Kloster Munkens Ale). Amber colour, mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, some wood, spices and mild earth. Flavour is very similar, but the spicyness is quite much stronger.
