Cask at Grey Horse Manchester; clear dark copper pour with a creamy tan head, aroma is a bit nutty with a hint of coffee, taste has smooth malts, a hint of coffee, some chocolate.

Dark copper with a lasting white head. Fruity and berry aroma. Dry malty flavour with berry notes.

Cask @ Great British Beer Festival, GBBF 2008, Earls Court, London, England SW5.[ As Hydes Traditional Mild ]. Clear medium amber color with a small, virtually none head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. (070808)

Cask@GBBF2008 (As Hydes Traditional Mild). Deep amber colour, not much head. Aroma is wood and some foresty notes. Mild notes of vanilla and ssome flowery hops too. Flavour is mainly wood and treeleafs along with some spices.

Clear deep amber with tiny white head. Sweet malty aroma with floral notes. Same goes for the flavor that finish mild bitter.

Cask, GBBF ’02

A decent malt palate as expected, leading to a slightly acidic finish. Yeah, my notes suck but it was the end of the fest and I least I was coherent to remember that I hadn’t found this when I was in Manchester.
