Brewed with a 50/50 blend of pale ale and lager malt to give a lighter beer to appeal to a wide variety of drinkers and to allow the hop flavours to dominate. Generously hopped with both British and American varieties, the predominant flavours are of citrus hops giving a Blonde beer that is inspired by modern pale ales.

Bottle on the train from Inverness to Hereford, fromt the Local Carlisle, 21/10/13. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white head. Nose is straw, bitter citrus, bready malts, orange. Taste comprises citrus fruit, faint earthy hopppage, bitter orange, toasted malts. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry grassy bitter notes in the finale. So so GB.

From cask at Charlies. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is light toasted malty and mild breadish. Light fruity. Bitter, toasted malty and light breadish. Dry, bitter and toasted malty finish.

One of the finest lager type ales around with a fantastic fruity edge to it.

Cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of grassy hops and malt. Dry and malty flavour

Cask @ GBBF 2008. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with some hoppy hints. Sweetish malty fruity hoppy caramel flavor. Has a sweetish fruity malty caramel finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste.

Cask @ Great British Beer Festival, GBBF 2008, Earls Court, London, England SW5.Clear medium yellow color with a small, virtually none head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat. (060808)

Cask@GBBF2008. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is mild fruits and wood. Flavour is fruits, mild yeastyness and some hints of hay. A nice bittery finish.

Cask at Marwell inn, bampton ... Very pale straw yellow ... light wattery hop ... light fresh hop ... little citric .. building linger ... lots of hop juicyness. good blonde ale... bottle at home golden aber .. bit white head ... soft dtry lemonm zezzt noise ... tart .. sour funk fruits ... citric ... sharp and fruity.. very citrus ... not sure bottle is rigth so will pass ...
