Brewed with a 50/50 blend of pale ale and lager malt to give a lighter beer to appeal to a wide variety of drinkers and to allow the hop flavours to dominate. Generously hopped with both British and American varieties, the predominant flavours are of citrus hops giving a Blonde beer that is inspired by modern pale ales.

Bottle at home stolen from my mother's house. Well chilled and perfect after a really hot commute. The taste was all about farmyard flavoured bitter hops that scythed across the taste buds. This is my sort of beer.

Bottle from Local in Carlisle. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - citrus , resin and pale malt. Taste - like a malt bag. Some lemon and orange following it through though. Metallic finish. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a bit dry and lacking in fruit.

Bottle at Craig’s, cheers Niall! Pours pale gold, thin white head. Definitely sherbet-to-brett on the nose, which has thinned out the beer to something not recognisable as golden/blonde ale. Sour fruits taste. Probably not intentional.
