On tap at the Grosvenor. Appearance - golden with a nice head. Nose - very faint lemon and cream. Taste - a lot more going on. Some tangy orange and malt notes. Palate - medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a fairly fresh finish. Overall - yeah this one got better. Always a good motto to perservere.

(Cask at Gallows Bird, 20120908) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was almost non-existent and white. Aroma had toffee and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, malts, toffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A nice tasty bitter.

Cask at Babbity Bowster, Glasgow on 23 April 2010. Gold with thin white head. Vibrantly citric and hoppy with a bitter aftertaste. Zingy mouthfeel and enjoyable throughout. So far was best beer tasted on my Scottish trip last spring.

From cask. Pours clear and golden golden orange with a minimal yet dense head. White. Mlid malty a vague spiced hopy aroma. Flavoured is smooth malty with a light bitterness coming through. Light malty and fruity finish. Nice one yet simple.

On gravity at Swindon BF 30/10/08. Deep amber in colour with a decent, off-white head. Aroma of citrus hops, caramel and grass. Flavour had a touch of sweet malts, plenty of grapefruit and a green, herbal edge before a decent bitter finish. Good stuff.

Cask (gravity) @ Great British Beer Festival, GBBF 2008, Earls Court, London, England SW5.Clear orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, nettles, moderate hoppy, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (060808)
