A well rounded, full flavoured medium strength ale, lighter in colour and not as strong as Old Brewery Bitter, but with more bitter and hoppy character.

On tap at the King William Alehouse, Bristol February 2016. Amber in colour, with a slight, white, head. very easy drinking keg bitter, with some caramel sweetness upfront, a touch of hedgerow fruits, malty edge and lingering finish. Fine.

Have only seen this in a couple of Sam Smiths Rochdale pubs so far. Copper-golden with a thick head, it has a smooth light character, a tasty bitter that is very easy to drink.
