Jackman’s American Pale Ale is brewed true to the style - medium-bodied, crisp and refreshing, with plenty of hop flavor and hop aroma. It’s noticeable hop bitterness is contrasted by the spicy and floral characteristics of the highest quality hops grown in the U.S.

very light on the hops, more of a malty beer than anything else. Quite earthy, light piney hops, and alot of bready malts.

On tap at Tapwerks. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice grassy hop note with a bit of pine and an underlying sweet grains. Flavor similarly has grass and grains with a growing pine note through the finish.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy gold with a medium white head leaving spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is floral hops and fruit. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet hop and citrus. Easy to drink a good APA from Left Hand.

Clear amber beer, bubbly white head. Light hoppy nose. Semi soft and semi dry palate. Light creamy malt. A little light tangerine hop but also an unpleasant soapy bitter dry note at the end. Splash of lime as well. Almost a good beer.

On tap @ Henrik, Bergen. This is a light hazy dark copper-ish body with a big and almost everlasting fluffy off-white head. Some fruity tones in the aroma with peaches, strawberries, caramel and snow. Nice. Tastes like tutti-fruity lemonade - without the lemon. Really - almost scary light drinkable. This means that it's perhaps a bit of lack in the mouthfeel, but that's all caught back in drinkability. A nice APA. 19.02.2012
