Bottled. A hazy amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet mlaty with notes of alcohol and over ripe fruits. The flavor is dominated by over ripe fruits.

27.5 cL bottle. Pours hazy deep orange to brown with a small white head. Dry and overripe fruity with a solid dense caramel malt note and alcohol. Thick mouthfeel. Mouldy, dense fruity and off malty flavoured. Utterly strange yet different and interesting. Sour and roasted finish, dense malty.

amber, small white head. aroma is generally bad. i get soap and dark fruits. flavor is sour raisins. real bad. sour stuff, sort of saved by a raisian flavor. i’ve had better raisin flavored beer than this one, and i HATE raisins

Very chalky, toffee nose, somewhere between a Saison and Barley Wine. Scotch notes come out in the mouth with toffee and caramel, but this beer is a train wreck that tried to avoid derailing.

Bottle 33cl. @ chris_o’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2008.Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, licorice notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (020808)

Bottled. Reddish amber colour, small head. Aroma is sweet alcohol, raisins and some mild caramelly notes. Flavour is dark fruits, grassy and some alcohol too. The finish is mainly burning sweet alcohol.

Cloudy amber with No head. Sweet aroma with plums, prunes and caramel notes. Sweet flavor with dark fruits and caramel notes. Ends sweet with warming alcohol.

[i] [b] Bottle, picked up at Westholme Londis, Goring-on-Thames, consumed 16-06-08 [/b] [/i] Poured reddy brown cloudy with no head whatsoever. Cloyingly sweet, with toffee, sweet fruits and some alcohol. Some port like flavours but this really isn’t for me at all and I was quite disappointed if truth be known.

Bottle at home ... Deep red ... sweet malts ... odd ... theres flavour i like in here but its just not working on all levels ... its some sweet toffee malts some pears ... little liqurice ... Its got a real nice flavour in the background, but the forground just isnt rigth ruining what could be a lovely beer.
