Misty amber colour, decent white head. Aroma and taste: honey and nectar, candied fruit, grapefruit, light bitterness. Not convincing.

Slightly hazy orange and amber coloured body with a light, fast-dying tan head, only about a centimetre tall. Aroma of malt, cardboard, light fruits and a touch of hops. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong cardboard and funky malt flavours at first with a little hop note and some subdued sweetness from fruit and toffee. Aftertaste isn’t too strong, but defintely has some english hops, a touch of caramel malt and some light apricot flavours as well - not as bad as I expected. Overall, a surprisingly decent beer (given the fact it’s from Wisconsin and says ’Shore Break’,but not the worst beer I could imagine, with some flavour and a decent complexity at the end. Scary, but this is surprisingly drinkable and at a good price point to be worthy, at least here in Waikiki. I sampled this sixteen ounce can purchased next door at Whaler’s on Lewers Street in Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii a few minutes ago for only US$1,69, sampled upstairs in my hotel room on 28-December-2015.
