Pale amber with a small, white head. Aroma of grain, burnt rubber. Dry grainy flavour, absolutely awful.

Bottle 66cl. @ chris_o’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2008. [ As St Judes John Orfords Strong Chocolate Malt ].Clear medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, roasted, fruity, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (020808)

Bottled. Golden colour, small beige head. Aroma is nectar, fruits, some sweet wood and mild notes of sourness. Flavour is medicine, fruity hops as well as mild licorice and quite much mouldy/earthyness. Probably infected, but I liked it!
