Bottle, 66cl, from trade with faroeviking. A black beer with a brown head. Bitter chocolate and coffee in the aroma. A bit one-dimentional maybe. The same goes for the flavor, where dark chocolate and coffee does the work. Very low on bitterness, low on sweetness and fruityness. Dry and full-bodied. Coffee and dark chocolate in the finish too. Lifting the focus from only chocolate and coffee, and adding something else would be a fine idea for the brewer, but it is still a fine brew. Some dark chocolate to go with the beer also lifts the experience. (081003)
