330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. BA supported, sweet-ish and roasty, dark and caramel malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, molasses, dark caramel, hints of Cognac, a touch of Sherry, Marsala, whiffs of plum butter, sweet cherry. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately, minimally roasty, dark malty, minimally woody, notes of dark chocolate, hints of Cognac, a touch of Sherry, Marsala.
Viscous texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, medium to fine, soft carbonation.
Sweet, not overly complex - OK.

On tap at MBCC 2025 (Blue session), pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has some harsh wood, medium roast, and some sherry-like notes. Flavour is harsh, with sherry, perfumey notes, wood, and hot roast. Rather chaotic and lacking refinement. Not great.
