A straw coloured bitter, with a distinct floral, spicy aroma from Cascade and Golding hops. The subtle blend of continental speciality malts with classic English pale malt gives a distinctive, slightly smoky taste, which blends well with the hop bitterness to give a spicy, yet well-balanced bitter.
From late 2010, the hops were changed to Sybilla and Progress and the continental malts omitted.

36 Pint box thing, Guy’s wedding reception, Swainsthorpe, Norfolk. It was all about the top cat really on this day, but this was definitely not without some merit. Healthy dose of citrus and hop made this well balanced and totally drinkable. Worth another look.

Cask handpull at Cidershed, Norwich. Amber, disappearing head. Pleasing perfumed hop aroma. Lacks a bit of condition. But has decent citrus on end, tangerine on finish. Actually a very nice session bitter in the citrus style.
