A traditional English session ale, mild in strength but not in flavor. Layers of toasty, biscuity malt with a gentle note of cocoa in the background.

Draft at brewery while doing trivia. Chestnut clear cooored and frothy head. Nose is faint nutty and malt. Tastes of brown sugar, malt, nuts and earth. Nice bodied.

GABF 2015. Described as a dark mild. Dark brown color. Grain in the aroma and the flavor, bread, cracker. It is mild, but very drinkable. Alcohol is maybe a touch high, but doesn’t hurt this beer. Good.
